Peru-New Mexico Exchange.

The Kusi Kawsay Association, Pachamama’s Path, and Unlocking Silent Histories cofounded Across the Americas,  a youth-led cultural exchange program between the Quechua Nation of the Andes and the Pueblos of New Mexico to inspire a global youth movement to elevate and reignite Indigenous wisdom, amplify youth identities, and reconnect us.

The 2023 July exchange included 16 musicians, graduates, and students of the Ñawpa Ñan Cultural Community, Kusi Kawsay Andean School, and Kusi Ñan projects, video ethnographers, and Quechua master weavers who united with youth and elders from Pueblos across New Mexico.
